The Domain and the Castle of Villarceaux






























XIIth-XIIIth Century

The domain of Villarceaux located a valley in the heart of Regional Natural Park of French Vexin came down to a fortified settlement that had all the characteristics of the fief aristocratic of the former regime.

XVth Century

The Domain, which is part of the line of defense of the kingdom of France was rebuilt in stone. This is how the castle of down is fortified.

XVIe Century

The field grows and becomes a vast agricultural property but also a residence pleasures,  flukes become ornamental ponds, multiple sources fueling fountains.

XVIIe Century

The manor host the loves of Louis de Mornay, Marquis de Villarceaux and Ninon de l'Enclos. The gardens are being "up to date".
