The Castle of Mesnil-Voisins

The Castle of Mesnil-Voisins is a french palace located at Bouray-sur-Juine, in the Essonne department, not far cities of Etampes, Saint-Chéron et Ballancourt-sur-Essonne at the South of the ile-de-France region, at thirty-seven kilometers of Paris.

The castle possesses an orangery, kitchens, sheds and workshops. The center of the courtyard shared, a huge and beautiful pigeon topped with a pepper presents its 3500 putlogs (birdhouses inside), its spendid gateway and its unbirdhouse mobile. This is one of the few to be preserved in the state with the internal escalator.

Her classification procedure is divided into three phases:
All the facades and the  roofs of the castle, les two pavilions of corner as well as those adjoining building et their fence wall, are subject to classification as historical monuments since 18 December 1980.

The interior is subject to registration as a historic monument since 12 October 1994. The small park is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since 6 November 1995.
The castle was built by a renowned builder of Creuse: Michel Villedo.
