The Castle of Fresnoy

The Castle of  Fresnoy has been build in Salins, located in Seine-et-Marne department.

This castle, which owes its name to the large amount of ash trees which grow in the area, was built in several stages. Two wings were added in 1885, the buildings, ornamented with vaults with capitals, decorated with arches serves as a stables and game rooms. Beyond the house, on a promontory, the domain contains some of the ruins of the Castle of Tuileries, in Paris, mainly columns purchased after the Commune. A channel made the tour of the property.

The castle built from 1470 to 1484, it remains a farm and buildings with a large pyramidal roof and a square corner tower.
