Itineraries and transport

The Ile de France is divided into 6 zones tariff,  zone 1-2 Paris, zone 3 near suburbs, suburbs Zone 4, Zone 5 and 6 great suburbs.

A city like Versailles, Rambouillet and Fontainebleau is located in area 4-5, Etampes, Dourdan in zone 6, etc ...

The metro ticket costs a little less than 2 euros, there are subscriptions to the month, week, day, inquire at the counters. There are also special tickets, combination tickets (eg the cost of visiting castles, monuments + shipping included). Inquire.

It takes just ready 6-10 Euros per person for a one way ticket to a Zone 4-5, and 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to go to zone 5.

The big poles of correspondences of RER in Paris are, Châtelet-les-Halles, Gare du Nord, Auber, Nation, Denfert-Rochereau, gare of Lyon ...

Transport in Ile de France have 5 RER lines, A, B, C, D, E;

A line runs from East to West of Saint-Germain en Laye, Poissy, Cergy-Pontoise to Boissy Saint Léger - Marne-la-Vallée.
B line runs from North to South of Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle- Mitry-Claye to Robinson, Antony, Saint-Rémy les Chevreuse.
C line runs from South to South to Paris, Pontoise, Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines to Saint-Martin d'Etampes-Dourdan la Forêt.
D line runs from North to South to Creil to Melun, Malesherbes, Corbeil-essonnes.
E line runs from Paris to East, to Haussmann Saint-Lazare to Tournan, Chelles-Gournay
