The Castle of Cèdres












The castle was built in Conches sur Gondoire, in Seine-et-Marne department, it was rebuilt in the nineteenth century and belonged to Ribaud Gustave (1884-1963). Professor of the Faculty of Sciences of Paris, is known for its research on high temperature. Member of the Academy of Sciences in 1947, Gustave Ribaud retired in Conches, where he died and is buried. Since 1967, the school of the town bears his name.
