The Castle of Beauharnais

This castle of Anglo-Norman style, was built in the town of Les Chappelles Bourbon,in Seine-et-Marne, according to the taste of the Rothschild. It was built by Louis Boucheron jewelers of Place Vendôme, and serves as second home to her family. Subsequently, his descendants are their principal residence. The building was designed by architect Jacquelin on a model already built Victot. A wrought iron gate that marks the entrance opens onto a stone bridge over a moat. The castle was transformed into Logis de France.
